Home to Europe’s 3rd busiest airport, Frankfurt is a common stopping point to get to other parts of Europe, and it’s an interesting city to visit.
If you find yourself there, I recommend heading to the top of the Main Tower. (That’s “Main” as in the Main River, which flows through Frankfurt. The city is referred to as Frankfurt am Main in German.)
There’s an observation deck at the top of the Main Tower with great closeup views of the city and distant views to the horizon.
