Following up on yesterday’s post, there is a terrific inn & restaurant (with bar) on the drive up to Mount Tamalpais, in Marin County north of San Francisco, California. This restaurant & inn is called the Mountain Home Inn.
It’s located on the aptly named Panoramic Highway, and it’s a must-see destination for view lovers visiting the San Francisco region. Even if you only have time to stop in for a drink during your day driving around Mount Tam, the Golden Gate Recreation Area, Stinson Beach, and other beautiful spots in Marin, Mountain Home Inn is worth it.
